Basically, what Joel said! I really enjoy all of these pieces, but this one in particular hit on something I've felt for a while now.
The leaguewide distaste for putting together a team that's good enough to be very good but not stripmining its roster and its future for a better shot a ring is tiresome and off putting. I say this as (and, frankly, maybe because I am) a Laker fan.
If the parties involved are all happy, enjoying a decade of "very good", with Jokic's brilliance and the joy of full-strength Murray is not a bad thing.
All of these Exits posts are great. I think I loved this one the most, but don't hold me to that.
